February Joy Dare 22-23
22. 3 gifts that changed today
23. a gift of tin, of glass, of wood
- Concluding the 6-week Rich Warren/Chuck Colson series "Wide Angle," which deals with world views. Had a lovely lovely time with my sisters. Since I'm the youngest of the group, I benefit from all their patience in listening to me babble on and on, and in hearing about their lives and experiences and advice. New series and more fellowship, please!
- Papacheng took the car to get fixed: the brake pads were worn down. Thank you! Now I can drive around without hurting people's ears or being anxious that my car will break down.
- Having no supervision for internship, while missing out on the benefits of seeing my field supervisor, allowed me some extra free time, yay!
23. a gift of tin, of glass, of wood
- Well, metal: my cousin DrUCLA got me a cake-pop/donut-hole maker! Besides the fact that I am ecstatically anticipating baking lots of goodies, I'm so thankful for a cousin who is always very thoughtful in his gift-giving, time and attention, and of course, our on-going feud over the title of "family jewel." :)
- My glasses are lovely, nerdy, and help me see. So thankful for them everyday! Hello Kitty has some too. :)
- hardwood floors. I LOVE hardwood floors. they make me so happy! I don't know why, I just...so pretty, so easy to clean, so classic, so wonderful! Taking pleasure in the simple things of life...
