February Joy Dare 16, 17, 18, 19, 20

16. 3 gifts in shadows

• shade when I need to read while sitting outside
• shadows=clouds=rain, i love rain!
• rest from oppressive heat in humidity

17. 3 gifts found giving/serving

• witnessing the budding of future generations of leaders and servers: PTL!
• joy and ability to see humor in mistakes and crazy moments in the middle of service
• generosity seen in others when insanity in scheduling and space-negotiating ensues

18. 3 gifts on paper

• grades on papers submitted: not the greatest, but I learned my lessons!
• my "Real Simple" magazine.  I love looking through those!
• kids actually telling me their prayer requests when I asked for them :)

19. 3 gifts that were "Plan B's"

• leaving early to go to the airport (turns out the flight arrived half an hour early!)
• though i had to cancel on my client because of car troubles, i definitely got more time to hang out at home and study
• eating my poke salad at the Rocks and hanging out

20. a gift at breakfast, lunch, dinner

• the coffee that woke me up for class this morning
• lunch with Spiffy, hooray!
• finally getting to eat dinner with the parentals after they were away for two weeks
