Asia 2012: Typhoon Vicente

Spent the day having dim sum with the grandparents, collecting my free money, and shopping in Causeway Bay as we watched Typhoon Vicente gradually worsen from Level 1 warning, to Level 3, and then Level 8 (at around 2 pm, the government warned that they would probably raise it to level 8 between 5-8 pm.  People go about their business regardless.  I love this place.)  Went to bed at 9 pm (thanks jet lag) and slept through the continual descent of Typhoon Vicente into a record Level 10 storm, the worst here since 1999.  Glad to be in a safe and secure house to calmly watch this nature craziness unfold...
