12. something above you, something below you, something beside you

• Roof above me: Always so grateful when I think about how God provided this house for us. I love being home!
• Couch below/under me: the comfy couches in our front sitting room, framed by the wall-to-wall library, makes one so content to rest, read, watch movies, sleep, etc. Simple joys.
• Dog beside me: I love having my dog sit by me and feeling her warm body lie trustingly next to me.

13. 3 sounds you hear

• people worshiping: one of my favorite things to do sometimes is to stop singing in the middle of a music-worship time and just listen to everyone else sing. Oh what a foretaste of glory divine!
• Parents conversing: I love the assurance of the gentle hums of the parentals' conversation. It's what lets me know I'm home.
• Silence: the space where God speaks.
