Birthdays and Grad School
I turned 23 on Friday. I don't feel any differently, except more loved and blessed than I deserve, and more in need of JC. It was a good birthday. :)
Some highlights:
-Disneyland with Spider-lover MOH and Naruto-lover MOH: I have my pin! It was so fun. I loved the jumbalaya and the carousel. and Indiana Jones. and the fact it didn't rain. Woot!
-Late night Applebees with Laudspeaker, Cutelilhammy, Songstress, Naruto-MOH, and party-planning Brother! good conversations about hopes, dreams, Body, etc.
-Surprise Tea Party hosted by Spiffer, LEmilyB, and PBandJ. first tea party I've been to since I was six. and in my honor! I can't believe they went through so much trouble. It was complete with china sets, little sandwiches, cupcakes, chocolate-covered strawberries, and hats and gloves.
-Academy Award: "the King's Speech" won! Another successful prediction from me. :) I love LURVE that movie, please go and watch it!

On a separate note, I want to announce that the grad school application craziness is about to draw to a close, at least for 2011. March 1 is final deadline for all schools I'm applying to. I really hope everything goes okay. But there is peace for me (and today's message was from Phil 4:1-9, verses 6-7 is my mantra). and Praise Him that I'm adequately and abundantly provided for! But I hope my $75 application fees aren't in total waste...

happy belated birthday! i'm so glad to hear it was a good one. :] praying that you are diligent and focused in the next few days. you must celebrate on march 2nd! heh.
