pray and give to Japan

I believe in prayer and a powerful God who answers. Please pray for Japan and its people, who are going through such devastation, destruction, and sorrow.



I also believe that we are part of God's answer for this broken world: doesn't He tell us to share the good news and to do mercy? God has been challenging me to put my money into good use for His glory.

We can't stop earthquakes or tsunamis or meltdowns, but we can do a small part in response to this disaster. World Vision is accepting donations: World Vision: Japan Quake and Tsunami Relief.

For me, I pray that my heart would not be desensitized, but still soft and in touch with the Father's heart, and to empathize and grieve with the Japanese, as well as with everyone else affected by this natural disaster. I was going through the news, and I saw that even the Motherland, who has so many grievances against Japan, has set aside animosity to lend aid and relief help. That is the beginning of reconciliation that is beautiful and pleasing to the Father, is it not?
