my dream bedroom

i love my bedroom. granted, at the moment it looks like three hurricanes ran through it one after the other, but my bedroom is my safe haven, my warm spot, my sitting, reading, dressing, and lounging room all rolled into one.

i currently live in a rented house, but if i ever had all the money in the world and could do whatever i want to it, i would want my bedroom to look like this:

wood (some aged) everywhere. look at that comfy bed with its pretty blue/lavendar/cream palette, and the mountain of pillows! look at the cute writing desk against the clear window panes through which sunlight streams. white walls with a rafter vault ceiling. and the books!!! with a ladder! my beauty-and-the-beast/bookloving dream come true.
