Happy Chinese New Year!

Happy Year of the Snake!

Interesting and useless tidbit: People born in the year of the snake are wise and enigmatic, thinkers, philosophers, and has innate elegance.

So I've been MIA for a month, AND I haven't shared anything from my time at Urbana.

To make this post a little easier to read, I'll just share some of the resolutions I have made for the year (and have sorta failed at already to some degree, but will try again to keep) in the aftermath of Urbana.

1. Make this year a more Christ-centered and disciplined life!
-Not that I shouldn't always make my life intentionally for J, but I want to set apart this momentous, GOLDEN year of mine to really focus, really consecrate, really draw near to Him.  Intimacy and  intentionality.
-there are a lot of fasting...

2. Continue to discern His will for my life
-I'm graduating soon!  What are my next steps?  Where do I go from here?  Going to Urbana gave me pause for thought about the myriad of options open to me.

3. Spend more time investing in relationships and prayer
-I find that, as a single Christian girl, I have a lot of time on my hands.  So instead of using all of that on myself, I'm going to invest in other people, young'uns and peers who need J as well!  Prayer goes in here too; as Madeleine L'Engle puts it, "Prayer... is an act of love".

4. Continue to improve my health, find healing in image issues
   -enough said...
