1. 3 gifts round

• Scrumptious donut, free at the activism project with 545 friends in Reseda!
• Yummy dim sum lunch round the table with my family...my brother came home!
• Our circle of long-time, old friends coming together, catching up, playing games, making mayhem...

2. 3 gifts white

• Sermon notes on white paper: we get sermon outlines now?  Sweet!
• The white envelope on which I added up the sums of the book sale profits 2830593728x.
• This is not white, I"m just thankful: Dr.Cousin and Unclecheng coming for an unexpected visit!  Woot!

3. 3 gifts surprisingly found

• Unclecheng bringing 85Degrees goodies on his way back from Irvine! 
• Getting an undeserved extension on some work...
• that it's very nice to have a clean room...gah!

Our church launched a 40 Days of Purpose campaign this past Sunday, based off of Dr. Rick Warren's book the Purpose Driven Life.  Everyone, I mean everyone, will be reading through the book, a chapter a day, as well as participate in small groups, listen to meaningful messages, and spending a concentrated time really discovering our individual and overall Father-given purposes in life.  So excited to see what's in store!

I want to include some interesting thoughts from my readings...

Day 1: "...being successful and fulfilling your life's purpose are not at all the same issue..."  !!

Day 2: "...While there are illegitimate parents, there are no illegitimate children.  Many children are unplanned by their parents, but they are not unplanned by God..."  Oooh, profound thought!
